Bismillah!

Today our main topic was bismillah, in the name of Allah. I read for Z a story about muslim family. The family are going to eat and children nearly forget to say "Bismillah", but then they remember. They also remember to use only right hand for eating! Story is in Finnish and from book " Salam-islamin polku 1-2". It`s focused for the children in 1-2 class at school, so for Z I shortened the story a little bit. It`s quite difficult to find islamic resources for kids in Finnish, that`s why I use this book also for Z.

Quite same kind of story in English can find from here.

After the story Z wanted to play eating time with soft vegetables and muffin. Some of them are from Ikea, some of them are self made. He didn`t forget to say "Bismillah", when he started to eat :)! MaaschaAllaah!

Z loves also take pictures. Alhamdulillaah nowdays it`s possible with digi machines without loosing film! We tried to find some "ba-words" from the kitchen and Z took pictures by himself.

Today he was also active to do work sheets alhamdulillaah! I`ve notice that he focus better on the morning time!

I showed for Z also another children`s works about theme "Bismillah" from here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.216552705062860.69641.185503254834472&type=1
He liked them! We also used again Youtube`s resources, but many nice videos about theme "Bismillah" were in English, so Z didn`t undestand all. But even like that he liked them and repeated only "Bismillah" :)!

We also studied some words by one game. These cards and idea are from game called "Blinde Kuh", which can find for example from here: http://www.earlylearning.fi/product_details.php?p=131. Our game is already a little old - I buyed it for my 11 years old son, when he was quite same age than Z now. So we have lost these cow masks, but we used a scarf instead. Today we used only these cards:

He tried to guess which card he has on his hand without seeing it. And then he tried to remember the word in Arabic.

Alhamdulillaah we had nice time today!
